Rachel Hansen

Rachel likes changing careers. Being restless and unafraid, Rachel tried various careers and studies, in the fields of Tourism, Travel, PR, Food (has been owner of Restaurant Darlings in Stockholm) and holds a Swedish diploma in Psychosynthesis and in Stress & Grief Management.
To raise awareness of Filipino presence, talent and culture in her adopted country Sweden, Rachel founded Philippine Center Sweden and arranged events such as concerts, art exhibits, sports and talent competitions, as well as fund-raising to support charity, scholarships and medical missions.
A serious and colorful platform to showcase Filipino Culture, People & Places was missing in Europe, so in 2009, Rachel founded and published Roots&Wings.
